Terms of Use
Last updated: 29 July 2026
These terms apply to use of this website and orders for custom reunion t-shirts. By using the shop or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under Australian Consumer Law.
1. About this shop
This is an unofficial shop created for the St Brendan’s College class of 1996 thirty-year reunion. The custom reunion t-shirts are not produced, sold or endorsed by St Brendan’s College or the St Brendan’s College Old Boys Foundation. Official merchandise is sold separately through the Old Boys Foundation’s external site.
2. Products and illustrations
Reunion t-shirts are printed on white cotton and individually customised. When an old boy’s name is selected, the nickname assigned to that person for fulfilment is printed on the back in place of “EXAMPLE”. The nickname is not displayed on this site or in the preview window.
Product images are illustrative, are not necessarily to scale and may differ from the supplied product. Colours may also vary between screens, mock-ups and printed fabric. Product descriptions, available sizes and prices shown when an order is placed form part of the order.
3. Prices, sale and payment
Prices are in Australian dollars and include stated merchant or transaction fees. The advertised sale ends on 31 August 2026. Orders close after 30 September 2026, except where we agree to accept an order in exceptional circumstances.
Payment is processed immediately through Stripe’s secure hosted checkout. An order is accepted when payment succeeds and an order confirmation is issued. We may contact you if an order contains an obvious pricing, product, customisation or availability error.
When you access or use Stripe’s checkout, payment or related consumer services, your use of those services is also subject to Stripe’s Consumer Terms of Service, which are incorporated into these terms by reference to the extent they apply. Stripe may update its terms from time to time. These shop terms continue to govern your purchase from the reunion shop, including the products, customisation, collection and remedies described below.
4. Customisation details
You are responsible for checking the selected old boy name, garment style, size and quantity before payment. If anything is wrong, contact us via email@sbcoldboys.shop. Changes cannot be guaranteed after 30 September 2026.
5. Collection
Orders will be available for collection from 23 Cokas Avenue Yeppoon from 14 October 2026 or at reunion events over the weekend 15 to 17 October 2026. Collection instructions will be sent by email in October. You are responsible for arranging collection in accordance with those instructions. Any uncollected orders will be considered abandoned after 21 October 2026 and disposed of.
6. Cancellations, change of mind and problems
Because each reunion t-shirt is made to order and individually customised, a change-of-mind cancellation, exchange or refund may not be available after production begins. This does not affect any remedy available under Australian Consumer Law.
Goods supplied to Australian consumers come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. If a t-shirt has a major problem, is unsafe, does not match its description or otherwise fails an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy such as a replacement or refund. Contact email@sbcoldboys.shop as soon as reasonably possible and retain the product and order confirmation.
7. Website use
You must not misuse the shop, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit false or fraudulent orders, or use its content in a way that infringes another person’s rights. Site access may be suspended where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance or misuse.
8. External services and links
The SBC Old Boys Shop uses or links to third-party services including ChatGPT, Stripe, Facebook, St Brendan's College and the St Brendan's Old Boys Foundation's site powered by Square. Stripe’s payment and consumer services are governed by Stripe’s Consumer Terms of Service. Other external services and purchases are governed by the applicable provider’s terms. We are not responsible for external content or transactions except to the extent required by law.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, delays outside reasonable control or external services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this clause limits mandatory consumer rights.
10. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. We may update them to reflect shop operations, event arrangements or legal requirements. The terms applying to an order are those available when the order is placed, except where a later change is required by law or is more favourable to the customer.
