1. Information we collect

We may collect information you provide when placing or discussing an order, including:

• your name and contact details, including your email address;
• your selected product, size, quantity and order details;
• the old boy name selected for individual customisation and the associated nickname used during fulfilment;
• payment status, transaction references and limited billing information supplied by our payment provider;
• collection and fulfilment information; and
• messages, questions, complaints or requests you send to the reunion organisers.

The site and its service providers may also collect basic technical information needed to operate and secure the site, such as device, browser, IP address, access time and diagnostic information.

2. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe’s hosted checkout. The SBC Old Boys Shop does not receive or store your complete payment, card number or security code. Stripe may collect and process information you provide through the checkout, including contact, billing, payment, device and transaction information, for purposes such as processing the payment, preventing fraud, providing Stripe or Link services, complying with legal obligations and improving its services.

Stripe handles that information under its own privacy policy, which is incorporated into this policy by reference to the extent it applies to Stripe’s processing. Stripe may process information in Australia, the United States and other countries where Stripe or its service providers operate. Stripe’s policy explains its practices, international transfers, retention, security measures and the privacy choices and rights available to you.

3. Why we use information

We use personal information only as reasonably necessary to:

• process payments and confirm orders;
• customise, print, manage and distribute old boys reunion t-shirts;
• send order, collection, correction or cancellation communications;
• respond to enquiries, complaints and any consumer law requests;
• keep financial, transaction and fulfilment records; and
• operate, protect and improve the security and reliability of the SBC Old Boys Shop.

4. Who may receive information

We may disclose relevant information to Kolour by Kaz and fulfilment providers; ChatGPT, Stripe and website, hosting and technical service providers; St Brendan's College Foundation Limited and reunion organisers; and professional advisers or authorities where reasonably required or authorised by law. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Storage, security and retention

We take reasonable administrative and technical steps to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No online system is completely risk-free. We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for fulfilment, record-keeping, dispute resolution and legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it where appropriate.

6. Access and correction

You may ask what personal information we hold about you or request a correction. Contact us by email@sbcoldboys.shop. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

7. Privacy complaints

If you believe your information has been mishandled, contact us by email@sbcoldboys.shop and explain the issue. We will review the complaint and respond within a reasonable time. If the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies and you are not satisfied with the response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

8. External links and changes

The SBC Old Boys Shop links to Facebook, Stripe, St Brendan's College and the Foundation's site powered by Square. Those services have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy when the service providers or legal requirements change. The current version will remain available on this page.
